Originally from Dunedin, I’ve lived in Auckland for the past 30 years, with brief stints in other parts of New Zealand. I founded NZ Chemical Suppliers in 2012, followed by Australian Chemical Suppliers (2015), American Chemical Suppliers (2015), and UK Chemical Suppliers (2018).

Starting NZCS in 2012 was a big step, but the rewards have been incredible, especially the loyalty of our customers—some have been with us since day one, and many for over 12 years. It hasn’t always been easy; we’ve made our share of mistakes and, at times, made difficult decisions that didn’t make the most business sense—but they felt right. Putting our customers’ needs ahead of profits has always been our priority, and it’s been deeply rewarding to support people and their businesses. We’ve had the privilege of working with some incredibly gifted developers who have made a lasting impact on our business with their problem-solving abilities and technical genius.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with some amazing people and truly gifted developers whose technical insight and problem-solving have made a lasting impact. With a background in business and the chemical industry, I’ve always valued meaningful connections—both professional and personal. I’ve been fortunate to meet inspirational people throughout New Zealand and the countries we operate in, as well as through Fisher & Paykel, Telecom, Cellnet, KVHS, Word of Life, Ballymena, Lifeway Snells Beach and TMK Packers
