| 1- SMALL OIL SEPARATORS - MACSEP manufactures and distributes its own proprietary range of small oil water separators (the MAC-SEP range). There are currently four models which range in range in size from 1,500 litres/hour to 6,000 litres/hour. Specialists Oil Water Separators. | MACSEP supply Small Oil Water Separators, specifically designed to meet the requirements of the power industry in New Zealand and in particular to treat oil contaminated storm water which collects in transformer bunded areas at substations and small power stations. The MACSEP range of small oil separators have three (3) levels of protection to prevent oil entering the environment in the case of a major oil spillage. The MACSEP range of Oil Separators include: 304 stainless steel construction (316 SS optional), Integral waste oil tanks including a high level switch, Certified to meet NZ seismic conditions, Slow speed Mono helical rotor pump set including anti-condensation heater, 304 SS IP65 control cubicle including auto internal lighting, hour meter, anti-condensation heater, Control system indication & alarms include; pump run, pump fail, oil tank high level, sumps high level, plant not ready, Supplied pre-wired & pre-plumbed, Pump sump/catch tank level switches. | DAF 3- DISSOLVED AIR FLOTATION UNITS - Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) is a powerful separation Technique which is widely used in industrial waste water treatment. MACSEP staff have over 20 years experience in supplying DAF units into the New Zealand market. Specialists Oil Water Separators. | DAF is a gravity separation process whereby the separation of two phases is achieved by increasing the specific gravity differences of the two phases. The flexibility and range of application of this technique has created an important niche for DAF systems within industry, with application ranging from food industries through to tanneries, heavy metal processing and refineries. The use of DAF as the heart of a treatment process is both simple in application as a powerful separation technique but also complex in applying the DAF technology correctly into an overall treatment system tailored to the individual effluent type. Features include: Size range from 1.0 m3/hour to 350 m3/hour, Packaged system built off site in 304 SS (other SS grades optional), Automatic top scraper washing, Bottom scrapers (optional), Integral chemical conditioning tanks (optional), Chemical dosing (optional). MACSEP supplies a range of DAF units for industrial waste water treatment and sludge thickening. Co-current and counter-current models are available.
