And - most important, it has colour changing abilities too! It contains heat sensitive colour pigments that will change from warm orange to yellow from the heat of your hand, sunlight or heat generated when stretching it. In the image on the right the putty has been heated with A hair blower and the face drawn with A piece of ice. More information: This putty is A Non-Newtonian substance, which means that it doesn't follow the theory of viscosity that Newton observed. Viscosity is the "thickness" of A liquid, or its resistance to flow. (Honey, for example, has A much higher viscosity than water.) Unlike most liquids, however, this putty changes its behaviour based on the amount of force applied. If you pull it gently, it will stretch; if you pull it forcefully, it will tear.
