Equate®
Equate ® is an herbicide that can be used pre or post-emergence on weeds. It is absorbed by the roots and foliage of susceptible weeds and translocated. Equate ® can be used pre or post-emergence on weeds. When applied pre-emergence, susceptible weeds might emerge but growth will be retarded and the weeds will either die or remain stunted and will not compete with the crop. Adequate soil moisture is important for optimum activity. When applied post-emergence of the weeds, they will either die or remain stunted and will not compete with the crop. For use postemergence of the weeds, a non-ionic surfactant or adjuvant oil must be added to Equate ®. Group: Herbicides. Active ingredients: 240g/Litres imazethapyr. Chemical Group: Imidazolinone. Nirvana®
Nirvana ® is absorbed into the foliage and stems of actively growing plants. It is inactive in soil and does not translocate as an active herbicide , so thorough coverage of target weeds is critical for best results. Visual effects of treatment will become evident more rapidly under ideal growing conditions, generally within 3-10 days. Rainfall within 2 hours of application may wash Nirvana ® off the foliage, and within 6 hours will reduce the effectiveness to the degree that re-treatment will be necessary. Group: Herbicides. Strada® 400SC
Strada ® 400SC is a selective broad-spectrum herbicide recommended for use in certain fruit crops and onions for the control of annual grasses and broadleaf weeds. Affected plants die shortly after germination or following emergence from the soil. Strada ® 400SC will not control perennial or established weeds. Weed control with Strada ® 400SC may be reduced where soil organic matter exceeds 6%. Approximately 12 mm of rainfall or irrigation within ten days of application is required for optimum performance. Reduced weed control can be expected when used under dry soil conditions. Group: Herbicides. Active ingredients: 400g/Litres pendimethalin. Chemical Group: Dinitroaniline - GROUP K1 HERBICIDE. WEED WEAPON EXTRA STRENGTH
A non-selective HERBICIDE for the control of most annual and perennial grass and broadleaf weeds in a wide range of situations. Intended for home garden and small scale commercial use, to be applied by hand-held or back-pack sprayer. Chemical group: N-(phosphonomethyl) glycine and (Saflufenacil) Pyrimidindione. Active ingredient: Contains 285.1 g/litre glyphosate and 5.6 g/litre saflufenacil in the form of a soluble concentrate. HSNO classes: 6.3b, 6.4A, 9.1B Approved Handler: This product must be under the personal control of an Approved Handler during use. Mode of action: Saflufenacil - PPO (protoporphyrinogen-IX-oxidase) inhibitor (HRAC Group E Herbicide). Taken up by roots, shoots and foliage of plants with translocation mostly in the xylem. The foliage of susceptible weeds shows signs of desiccation within a few hours. Selectivity is conferred by physical placement and more rapid metabolism of saflufenacil in tolerant crop species. Glyphosate - Taken in only through foliage and translocated to all parts of the plant including roots and rhizomes. Acts within the plant by inhibiting protein synthesis. Visible effects are a gradual wilting and yellowing of foliage. Brown-off may take 7-14 days or longer depending on growing conditions. RECOMMENDED USES: Weeds controlled: Rapid knockdown of grasses such as annual poa and ryegrass; and broadleaved weeds such asdandelion, docks, clover, mallows, plantains and tall willow herb. Will control fathen, black nightshade, broadleaf docks(seedling), willow weed and wireweed, and will suppress pink shamrock.
