| Coconut Refined Certified Organic Vegetable Oil - ACO 10282P | Botanical Name: Cocos nucifera. Extraction Method: Cold Pressed. Quality: Our coconut oil is refined, bleached and deordorised (RBD) using physical, rather than chemical processes. While some brands prefer 'complete' oils, removing or reducing the odour and/or colour does give a higher level of aesthetic flexibility when formulating and also tends to further improve the stability of the oil. Description: Coconut oil switches between solid and liquid at room temperature (21-25C). The oil is used to lubricate the skin and condition the hair. Coconut is a preferred oil for high quality cold-process soapers as it is a 'hard' oil on account of its chemistry, being majority saturated fats which are also very stable.
