AdBlue: A diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) used by trucks and tractors with SCR (selective catalytic reduction) systems to reduce exhaust emissions. AdBlue is an extremely pure solution, especially developed for the diesel engines with a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) exhaust after treatment system.
AdBlue mainly consists of high purity demineralized water & urea. contains approximately 32.5% urea and is also known as AUS 32 ((NH2)2CO). It is injected into exhaust gas to reduce harmful NOx emissions and allows modern diesel engines to meet worldwide emission standards. The SCR solution is the best way to meet current emission standards. Pollutants are reduced to near-zero levels without compromising engine performance. Increases fuel economy and reliability benefits are accrued due to emission compliance occurring predominately in the SCR system not in the vehicles engine. AdBlue is manufactured under licence & distributed in New Zealand through our growing nationwide network of easy to access and use filling stations. & dispensing systems made especially for AdBlue.
