Davidsons Plum Powder - Australian Native Extract (Bulk)
Davidson's Plum is a rainforest tree found in Queensland and Northern NSW that bears dark purple fruit with vibrant red flesh. This fruit is high in the anthocyanin group of anti-oxidants and polysaccharides which provide anti-ageing benefits and significant hydration for the skin. The phytochemicals in this extract are freeze dried after harvesting to maintain their efficacy and freshness. Botanical Name: Davidsona pruriens. Common Name: Davidson's Plum. Traditional Name: Ooray (Yirrganydji people of Northern Queensland who speak Djabugay language). Powdered Extract Strength: 10:1. Appearance: this is a dark purple powdered extract that has a high but incomplete solubility in water. This means that it is best to hydrate and filter this before adding it to your cosmetic product. Applications: Use as an active ingredient in skincare products. Particularly well suited for anti-ageing products. Usage Instructions: The powder is 10 times stronger than the fresh fruit so to make a re-constituted fruit juice you would need a mix of 10% powder into 90% demineralised water + preservative (for maintaining the freshness). The powder is highly water soluble but it is always a good idea to filter any extracts before using them in a finished product to remove any solids or un-dissolved powder. Group: Extracts. Alternative Names: Davidsonia Jerseyana Fruit Extract. EINECS: 920-206-2 [ECHA]. CAS No. 1174401-42-3. Pack Sizes: 15G; 100G; 500G; 1KG; 5KG and above upon request. Product ID: EXANDAVIPLUM. If you do make a reconstituted liquid as per above, we recommend using this in your product at anything from 1-50% of your formula. If you want to go ahead and add the powder directly to your formula you could use it at between 0.1-5% but do remember that it required moisture to rehydrate and so will not mix into an oil based product. It can be added dry to powdered clay masks or colour cosmetics if you wish.

Iron Oxides
Iron Oxides are commonly used in oil well drilling, or as pigments in glass and ceramic applications. ColorFerox Black N60 and ColorferoxRed N66 are our product names and are a 60% solids suspension of Iron Oxide Black and a 66% solids suspension of Iron Oxide Red respectively. It is used primarily in the clay brick, tile and paver industry to alter or enhance the colour of the finished product. By adjusting the addition rate our Iron Oxide suspensions can produce a range of vibrant colours which are dependent upon the clay used and the firing conditions. Iron Oxide suspensions were developed to eliminate the handling of dusty powders in the working environment, to allow for greater control of addition rates and reduce waste. Pink Australian Clay (Bulk)
Pink Australian Clay has a lower iron content than the red clay hence the lighter colour. This essential minerals to help replenish and regenerate the epidermis of the skin to create softened and conditioned skin with a healthy glow. The clay can be blended with other clays for different properties and effect or used as a stand-alone additive for face and body masks. To form a paste, mix approximately a teaspoon of Pink Australian Clay with 1/3 tsp of water to form a paste. Mix until colour is unform. Due to natural variation this product in its dry powder form may appear to look extremely pale, however when incorporated into formulas or mixed with a liquid the colour develops into a deep pink colour. Whilst mixing with liquid one may notice slight streaking of colour, which is normal, and the product should be mixed until a uniform colour is achieved. Note: In late 2018 the mine extracting the Australian pink clay was closed due to exhausting the natural clay desposits. In order to maintain supply of the same specification product New Directions commenced manufacturing the pink clay from Australian mined kaolin and Iron oxide pigment. This produces a clay with the same characteristics and chemistry and the original product but via a slightly different process. Group: Clay. Alternative Names: Kaolin, Aqua, CI 77491, CI 77499. EINECS: 310-194-1, 231-791-2, 215-168-2, 235-442-5. CAS No. 1332-58-7, 7732-18-5, 1309-37-1, 12227-89-3. Pack Sizes: 100G; 500G; 1KG; 5KG; 20KG and above upon request. Product ID: CLAYAUSTPINK.
